Senior Systems Analyst

 

Global pharmaceutical client based in Dublin is recruiting a Senior Systems Analyst to work on a large scale systems migration and integration project for their global business. As the Systems Analyst, you will take ownership of the migration and integration, and will be expected to work closely and effectively with other team members such as I.S. Managers, Business Stakeholders, System Architects etc. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a global business which is going from strength to strength in the Irish market and rapidly expanding from an IT perspective.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct needs and impact analysis on business requests and search for ways to link programs, processes, and systems throughout the organisation to achieve optimal efficiency. Look at how current organisational programs and systems will be impacted by future development.
  • Understand the overall company vision and plan, relate this vision to specific business and system requirements.
  • Ensures proper planning and execution of requirements activities.
  • Work with Senior Management and project team to understand business requirements and determine action plans to deliver. Execute tasks according to the plan.
  • Facilitates requirements interviews and workshops with project stakeholders, to identify process improvements and system features for complex technical projects.

 

Skills / Experience:

  • 6+ years experience as a Systems Analyst / Business Systems Analyst, including various requirements gathering techniques and exposure to standard methodologies (Use cases, UML)
  • Exposure to large, complex IT projects, experience working in a global company / team an advantage
  • Excellent analytical / problem solving skills, including aptitude towards problem identification, resolution and comprehension.
  • Requirements planning and gathering
  • Experience working with large amounts of data (SQL / BI skills a plus)
