Site Reliability Engineer – Dublin – Permanent 

An exciting new entrant to the Irish Market is seeking a site reliability engineer to work on business critical projects which will impact millions of users daily.  This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, cross functional team, delivering cutting edge solutions to the Irish and European markets. Key Responsibilities: 

• Take ownership of the internal infrastructure and improve and automate operational and deployment processes
• Contribute to product development and strive to improve customer experience through continuous delivery of software
• Build and maintain high-performance, scalable infrastructure and participate in on-call rotation

Key Skills Required: 

Strong and demostratable experience with the below is essential:

• Container technologies – Docker or Kubernetes
• RDBMS experience – ideally with MySQL
• Scripting experience – Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby etc
• Linux, Git, Terraform, Elasticsearch experience is desirable
• Scala, Golang, RoR or Django – nice to have

Ability to explain technical terms and processes to business users and non-technical colleagues / customers is essential

Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment is highly beneficial to this role
